Rainy Days
Well the trout have been biting fairly well on the Union and togue are hanging at abotu 40' at Hopkins Pond. It looks like overcast days for the next few, so why not wet a line and have a feed. Water levels are still runnable on the Union for the kayak or canoe. A dear friend passed yesterday at 82, Elizabeth Bragg who raised me for the first 9 years of my life, she is now with her Johnny.

Lorin,
ReplyDeleteRe: your following blog pertaining to the Selectmen's meeting and the School Board Rpt. - the towns of Clifton & Eddington BOTH wrote letters to the School Board stating their concerns about turning over property to Holden that belongs to SAD63. (And Eddington wouldn't have known a thing if it hadn't been for Ralph Russell presenting the news at a Selectmen's meeting in Eddington. Eddington then sent a "Heads Up" letter to Clifton and that put a Halt to the School Board pushing the matter through with Holden.)
So - the School Board told Holden to put the proposal in a Letter - a Memorandum of Understanding of sorts with the intent that the letter would be shared with Eddington and Clifton. Guess what? Nobody's seen any letter yet - and it's been a couple of months since that cat's been let outta the bag. Just one more reason why PEOPLE - the taxpayers/voters need to attend BOTH Selectmen meetings AND School Board meetings cause it's OUR money these folks are freewheeling with (and not too accountable for communicating where it's going).
