School Budget Vote June 4th
I encourage each of you to read Rusty's piece at eddingtonnews.blogspot.com and you will see why I am voting NO on the school budget. Maybe we should pass over all articles, but 16 and then make it the same amount as last year. No business manager in a school is worth over $70,000 a year and another raise coming on top of that.

Read my latest blog - titled "News, News, News". The ballot for June 9th is Tricky. Voters want to be sure the find out the results of the June 4th vote BEFORE they cast their June 9th ballot or a "No" may end up being a "Yes." (You don't suppose the School Board et al are afraid the voters have been paying attention to the blogs and are getting wise to the tricks, do you? Otherwise, why change the Ballot?)

I hear even Clifton Selectwoman Penny Peasley is rounding up Cliftonites to attend the meeting tomorrow night. Based on the numbers and data I just posted tonight (June 3) people should be wondering why it is going to cost over $10,000. per student for the next year under the proposed budget. Maybe the $75,000 being paid to the Business Manager (who shows up for work when she gets there - 9, 10, after noon - no wonder she's complaining she can't get her work done) is a place to start cutting this budget. We certainly don't need to be extending that contract another three years!
